Comet C/2006 W3 Christensen

Currently being reported at Mag 14.3 this comet will reach Mag 11 in the summer of 2009

It definitely looks brighter than 14. When I got the background right, it looked more like 12 to me, though I'm certainly not one to go by.

Maybe we've got another outburster...

This little guy has got some pretty high surface brightness! Nice animation

The new light curve has been calculated by Seiichi he is now projecting mag Mag 8 by July 2009
