Well working down my list.
My 26th Comet imaged this year is Comet 46P Wirtanen, Mag 15.4 and very defuse almost like Comet 2P was. Comet 46P will really start to brighten over the next 2 months reaching Mag 8 ~ 8.2 near the end of Jan 2008

Wow Tony! I'm always impressed by your comets. The rest of us are happy with the easy ones like Holmes _________________ Maynard Pittendreigh

LOL - that's funny Maynard - and oh so true. Tony braves that vast and distant world where we faint-comet sissies fear to tread.
Tony, I am curious about the number 30. Why that particular number? Congratulations on coming this far already. You've now about six weeks to knock out the other four.

This might be a fun comet to use for a mosaic ... side-by-side images illustrating its brightening across time.

| I thought the anti-solar "tails" were from the spider, but I ws thinking, that can't be with that filter and the stars as they are... |
