It is amazing how long this event is lasting!! I can't wait until a half dozen years go by and we see Holmes approaching the sun again - wonder whay we will see?

This is from Space Weather - another reason to take another look at Comet Holmes... "In less than 10 days, Comet 17P/Holmes will appear to swallow the bright and famous star Algol. "

Tony that looks really good! The comet may have "dimmed" but it still makes for a cool image.

Thats neat the way its passing "between" those two stars. I think I like that even beter than an occultation.
